Why Korea

Korea has one of the world's fastest-aging populations and is set to become a post-aged society in 2025. This demographic shift is driving higher healthcare demand, rising medical costs, and increased chronic disease rates. Korea's life sciences industry has gained significant global attention, particularly following its success in managing the COVID-19 pandemic.

Korea is making significant investments in the biopharmaceutical sector, with both private and public sectors fueling advancements in biosimilars, vaccines, regenerative medicine, and artificial intelligence (AI)-powered healthcare solutions. The focus is especially on research and development (R&D) partnerships in AI applications and regenerative medicine, creating promising opportunities for Canadian companies.

If you are a Canadian life sciences company seeking business opportunities in Korea, joining the Canadian business delegation to Bio Korea 2025 is an excellent way to connect with key stakeholders, gain market insights, and establish strategic partnerships.
