Canada-Taiwan 2024-25 collaborative industrial research and development (R&D) Call for Proposals
The governments of Canada and Taiwan have opened a 2024-25 collaborative research and development (R&D) call for proposals. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Canada and Taiwan can submit co-innovation projects for funding support. Priority will be given to projects with high potential for commercialization.
Selected Canadian SMEs can receive up to 50% reimbursement of eligible project costs up to a maximum total funding amount of $600,000. Organizations in Canada and Taiwan must each submit a proposal.

In Canada, funding is offered through the Canadian International Innovation Program (CIIP). The program is offered by Global Affairs Canada's Trade Commissioner Service in partnership with the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
