Event description

The China International Environmental Protection Exhibition and Conference (CIEPEC), organized by China Association of Environmental Protection Industry (CAEPI), is a key show in China's environment sector. Supported by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Beijing municipal government, CIEPEC has become the primary business platform in China for the environmental protection industry and a preferred channel for international environmental protection companies to enter the local market. The show first launched in 1986 and now has 39 years of history. CIEPEC 2024 saw over 1,000 exhibitors and 150,000 professional visitors, and 12 exhibition halls covering an area of 60,000 square meters.

For the past two decades, the Canadian Trade Commissioner Service in Beijing (TCS) has been participating in CIEPEC. The show has delivered many commercial successes and positive feedback from Canadian companies over the years. For CIEPEC 2025, the TCS in Beijing is planning to partner with the Governments of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec to organize a Canada Pavilion and a business matchmaking program for interested Canadian companies. The Pavilion space can accommodate up to 7 to 9 companies.

The matchmaking program will be organized in collaboration with show organizer CAEPI. CAEPI is a national-level association mandated by the Chinese government to promote environmental and ecological industry development.

The TCS will cover the costs associated with the Canada Pavilion, including show passes, and business matchmaking for confirmed participating Canadian companies. Canadian companies are responsible for their travel, meal and accommodation costs.
