Business opportunities in the Chilean forestry sector

Concepción, Chile, November 18-20, 2015 — Canada will have a pavilion at ExpoCorma 2015, Chile’s largest international trade show for the forestry industry. The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) is organizing activities to make this event a success for Canadian participants.

The Chilean forestry industry is expected to grow this year. ExpoCorma provides an ideal platform for Canadian suppliers to explore opportunities in many sectors of the forest industry such as forest operations and machinery, forest fire protection services, wood processing, and pulp & paper processing equipment.

The Canadian pavilion will offer Canadian companies a prime opportunity to showcase the latest forest products and technologies to decision-makers from around the world. The TCS will also provide on-site support to Canadian exhibiting companies.

Trade commissioners will also organize a Canadian Forestry Industry Capabilities seminar and invite potential Chilean buyers to get acquainted with Canadian innovations and services in the forest and pulp and paper industry. A networking event and matchmaking meetings are included in the TCS’s program as well.

Space in the Canadian pavilion will be booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
