Trade mission to Guatemala for Canadian construction & sustainable technologies

Guatemala, September 8-10, 2014 — The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service (TCS) invites Canadian companies in the construction and sustainable technologies sectors to participate in a trade mission to Guatemala City.

The mission aims to promote Canadian products and services to regional importers, distributors, developers, architects and engineers attending two trade events: Expo Verde Internacional de la Construcción and the World Business Forum Latino America.

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service's program will include one-on-one meetings with local importers and distributors, networking events with key industry executives, technical presentations with a targeted audience and site visits.

The construction sector is one of the most dynamic engines of the Guatemalan economy, making up approximately 3% of its gross domestic product. Sustainability is the new trend for housing and offices, which provides opportunities for Canadian green products, services and technologies.
