Why Denver?

Established in 2011, the Renewable Energy Canadian Technology Accelerator is in its sixth year in Denver, Colorado working in conjunction with the National Renewable Energy Labs (NREL), the only federal laboratory dedicated to the research, development, commercialization and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency in the United States. This unique partnership assists Canadian Renewable/ Clean technologies SMEs accelerate their technologies and services to broader markets through professional coaching, mentoring and key market introductions including: market validation and analysis, assistance with crafting the value proposition and downstream value statements to support networking, and leveraging the US network to assist with connections to potential customers, partners, and stakeholders.

What is CTA@Denver?

The Renewable Energy CTA program in Denver is a three-part initiative beginning with day-long event highlighting Canadian company profile presentations called the Day of Acceleration at NREL in Denver, Colorado in December 2016. The second phase of the program three month virtual and on-site incubation with the NREL’s renewable energy incubator and instrumental in preparing the companies for the third phase of the program. The third and final phase of the program is the two-day NREL’s Industry Growth Forum in Denver, Colorado in April 2017 which will allow the Canadian SMEs to engage in one-on-one meetings with 50+ investors, and multinationals and key strategic partners.
