Edu Mission to the Azores

The Canadian Embassy to Portugal is organizing a mission to the Azores on October 12-14. The archipelago has the largest Canadian community, around 20 000, in Portugal (mainly dual citizens) and the strongest historic people-to-people links with Canada. The majority of the Canadian citizens reside in São Miguel Island. The Embassy would coordinate the mission with the Azorean regional government, the University of the Azores and other higher education institutions.
