Agriculture and agri-food sector and renewable energy sector mission to Nicaragua and Costa Rica

Location: Managua, Nicaragua (Feb 20-21), and San José, Costa Rica (Feb 22-23), Nicaragua
Target Audience: Exporters of food products, agriculture machinery, agriculture machinery, and animal genetics. Electric transmission and distribution; smart grids, wind, solar, mini-hydro, hydro, waste to energy and biomass energies.
Sector: Agriculture and Processed Foods, Clean Technologies

This event will take place in Managua, Nicaragua in February 20th and 21st, and San Jose, Costa Rica in February 22nd and 23rd, 2018.  Canadian participants will be able to benefit from a focussed business to business meeting program with a minimum of 6 appointments per company in each one of the countries. They will be able to showcase their products and services to key stakeholders such as importers, distributors, chambers and local government authorities in Agriculture and Agri-food and in Renewable Energies. In both countries, Canadian companies will be able to learn about local Government plans, current legislation and benefit from a business to business meeting program. In Costa Rica, Canadian companies will also benefit from reduced import tariffs from the bilateral Free Trade Agreement.
