1. World Smart Energy Week overview

World Smart Energy Week is an annual event and one of the world's largest international Clean Technologies / Renewable Energy trade shows.  In 2018, it will take place from February 28th to March 2nd at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo.  It includes exhibitions, conferences and B to B meetings covering a wide range of cutting-edge products & technologies from various energy sub­sectors.  In 2017, it attracted 1,570 exhibitors from 31 countries and the number of the visitors was 62,426.  It consists of the following eight cleantech-related exhibitions.

  3. FC Expo
  4. Battery Japan
  5. International Smart Grid Expo
  6. Wind Expo
  7. International Biomass Expo
  8. Thermal Power Expo

2. Canada Booth

The Embassy of Canada to Japan will be participating in the World Smart Energy Week 2018 and will host a Canada booth to support Canadian Clean Technologies organizations.  Participating organizations can expect:

  • 1. One poster installation;
  • 2. Shared space within the Canada booth for B2B meetings;
  • 3. Shared interpreters (English and Japanese);
  • 4. On-site logistics support;
  • 5. B to B meetings arrangements;
  • 6. Company overview published in the World Smart Energy Week website.
