Infrastructure Business Mission to Colombia
Date: November 19-24, 2017
Location: Bogota, Medellin and Cartagena, Colombia
Target Audience: Canadian companies interested in exploring opportunities to export products, services and technologies for the infrastructure sector
The Embassy of Canada to Colombia and Export Development Canada (EDC) are organizing a business mission to Colombia during the Colombian Infrastructure Congress. The mission will be focused on social infrastructure and is open to construction companies, architects, engineering firms and other firms providing solutions for hospitals, schools and public buildings.
As part of its infrastructure development program, and using the Public Private Partnerships model, Colombia is structuring various social infrastructure projects including schools, hospitals and government buildings that will be procured during the first semester of 2018. By visiting the country, Canadian companies will be able to get market intelligence on the projects to be awarded and meet potential business partners and relevant government entities to pursue those opportunities.
The program will consist of two full days of pre-arranged business meetings, one day in Bogota and one day in Medellín. We strongly recommend you also join us at the National Infrastructure Congress taking place from November 22-24th in Cartagena which is the main event in the sector that gathers C-level representatives from the construction companies, project developers, investors and governmental institutions.
